Kowloon Machinery has recently completed the installation of a complete biomass straw recycling line for a customer in China. The customer purchased a full set of straw shredding and grinding equipment from us, and the recycling line has now been installed and commissioned successfully.
The straw recycling line includes straw shredder, trommel screen, biomass hammer mill, conveying system, and cyclone dust collection system. The equipment works together to efficiently process agricultural straw and prepare it for further utilization.
*Straw Shredder – Pre-shreds straw into smaller and more manageable pieces for subsequent processing.
*Trommel Screen – Screens the processed straw and separates materials according to particle size.
*Biomass Hammer Mill – Further crushes and refines the straw to achieve the required particle size for downstream applications.
*Conveying System – Continuously transfers materials between different processing stages, improving the automation and efficiency of the complete line.
*Cyclone Dust Collection System – Collects dust generated during crushing and conveying, helping create a cleaner and more controlled working environment.
Agricultural straw is a widely available biomass resource, but untreated straw is often difficult to store, transport, or use efficiently. A straw recycling line can convert loose agricultural residues into more uniform and usable biomass materials.
Depending on the customer’s requirements, processed straw can be used for biomass fuel, animal bedding, pellet or briquette production, composting, and other biomass utilization applications.
