This project is a scrap metal recycling line tailored by our company (Kowloon Machinery) for our Libyan clients. It is mainly used to process various types of scrap steel, metal shells, light and thin metals and mixed metal scraps, achieving efficient crushing, sorting and recycling. The entire recycling line is compact and highly automated, which can help customers significantly improve processing efficiency, reduce labor costs, and achieve high-value resource recovery.
The main process of this recycling line is as follows: Double shaft metal shredder → Metal crusher → Magnetic separator → Drum screen → Eddy current separator → Finished product output.
Scrap metal is first fed into a heavy-duty dual-shaft shredder for primary size reduction; its high-torque shearing mechanism tears large metal pieces into smaller fragments, facilitating subsequent processing. The shredded material is then conveyed to a metal crusher for further fine crushing, ensuring uniform particle size and enhancing the efficiency of downstream sorting. The crushed metal passes over a magnetic separator, where a powerful magnetic system separates ferrous metals from non-metallic materials. Next, the material enters a drum screen to remove lightweight impurities and dust, resulting in a cleaner, more uniform product. Finally, the material passes through eddy current separators to isolate non-ferrous metals, such as aluminum, copper, and zinc, thereby increasing the purity of the recovered metal. The recovered metal can be sent for remelting or sold directly.
The entire recycling line operates stably, has strong processing capacity, a high degree of automation, and can achieve continuous operation. While ensuring high production capacity, it effectively improves metal recovery rate and finished product purity, helping customers obtain higher economic benefits.
