With societal progress, the recycling and reuse of waste tires has become an important aspect of promoting sustainable development. Today, we’ll take you inside our waste tire recycling line to introduce our equipment and show you how it efficiently and safely transforms waste tires into valuable resources.
The final products obtained are rubber granules or rubber powder and steel wire. These materials are widely used in industries such as recycled rubber, modified asphalt, sports field paving, and construction.
First is the Hydraulic Tire Debeader. Its primary function is to remove the steel wires embedded in the tire sidewall. Driven by a hydraulic system, the pulling rod and hook move back and forth, and the entire wire can be pulled out at once; the steel wire can then be collected for recycling. The machine is controlled by a remote, it is easy and safe to operate.
Next up is the Tire Shredder. This machine can shred tires into small chunks. The shredder features high torque and low rotational speed; Two sets of motors and reducers drive double shafts to rotate in opposition. Powerful blades mounted on the shafts shear the tires into chunks ranging from 50 to 100 mm. Rubber pieces smaller than the screen mesh size are discharged directly, while those larger than the mesh size are recirculated into the shredding chamber for secondary crushing. The rubber chunks are fed into the Tire Rasper via a conveyor. This machine is used to further separate the steel wires from the rubber chunks and shred rubber chunks into 10 to 20 mm granules. The Magnetic Separator uses strong magnetic force to attract steel wires, ensures the purity of the rubber granules. Next is the rubber granulator, which utilizes high-speed rotating blades to further shred the material into granules ranging from 1 to 7 mm in size. Then material enters to a vibrating screen, where high-frequency vibrations separate the granules according to mesh size. Simultaneously, fibers are extracted and collected, ensuring the purity of the resulting rubber granules. We also equipped zig-zag air separator and dust collector.
If finer rubber powder is required, additional Rubber Powder Grinding Machine can be integrated into the line. This machine utilizes high-pressure friction to further grind the rubber granules, producing fine rubber powder.
